A popular kebab dish with minced meat and eggplant.
Ingredients
400g | minced meat (beef) |
2 tbspn. | oil |
200g | chopped tomatos |
1 | red paprika |
1 | green paprika |
1 | onion |
1 | teaspoon salt |
1/2 | teaspoon pepper |
1 | teaspoon thyme |
1 | teaspoon sweet paprika |
30ml | water |
30g | tomato paste |
300g | yogurt |
20ml | oil |
400g | roasted eggplant |
2 | garlic cloves |
Preparation

Fry minced meat in a pan. Add oil, chopped onion, finely chopped red and green paprikas and fry. Add the paprika pulp and stir. Add spices, water and chopped tomatoes and stir. Simmer the minced meat mixture over medium heat for 20 minutes.

To make the yoghurt sauce, first chop the roasted aubergines, then mix the yoghurt, the chopped garlic cloves and the oil in a bowl.

To serve, first spread the eggplant-yoghurt mixture on the plate, add the minced meat mixture on top and optionally serve with Turkish rice.
