Bruschetta

Crispy bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, basil, and çökelek.
Ingredients
1 | ciabatta bread |
3 tbspn. | garlic oil or olive oil |
1 | tomato |
1 | onion |
2 | garlic |
1/2 | teaspoon |
1 handfull | basil |
sth. | balsamico |
sth. | cökelek cheese |
Preparation

Cut the tomato and onion into small cubes. Cut the garlic and basil into very small pieces and add to the tomato and onion mixture. Season with salt and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C fan.

Cut the ciabatta into slices and drizzle with the garlic oil or olive oil. Place the ciabatta slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for approx. 5 - 8 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the ciabatta slices from the oven and top with ½ tablespoon of the tomato and garlic mixture per slice. Drizzle with a little balsamic vinegar. Finally, top the whole thing with Cökelek cheese.
