Kadayif Nest

Kadayif nest with labne cream and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
1-2 packs | kadayif |
1/3 packs | butter |
1 pack | labne |
200 g | whipped cream |
7 tbsp | icing sugar |
sth. | strawberries |
Preparation
Heat the butter with 1 tbsp icing sugar and leave to cool slightly. For the cream, whip the whipped cream. Mix the rennet and powdered sugar in a separate bowl and (carefully) fold into the whipped cream. Then leave to rest in the fridge.
Pick the kadayif apart a little with your hands and place in a large bowl. Add the melted butter and mix well with your hands.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees convection top/bottom heat. Form small kadayif nests by wrapping the kadayif threads around your fingers and, if necessary, forming a hollow in the nests with the end of a wooden spoon.
Bake the nests for approx. 15 mins. until golden brown and leave to cool.
Pour the cream into a piping bag and fill the nests. Garnish with a strawberry and serve.
