Meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients
300g | minced meat |
2 tbspn. | breadcrumbs |
1 | egg |
1 | teaspoon salt |
1 | teapsoon parika |
1/2 | teaspoon cumin |
1/2 | teaspoon pepper |
2 | garlic cloves |
1 | onion |
1 tbspn. | paprika-tomato paste |
400ml | water |
50ml | cream |
1/2 | teaspoon salt |
1 | teaspoon oregano |
1 | onion |
1 | garlic clove |
3 tbspn. | oil |
Preparation

Dice the onion and garlic cloves. Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs together and knead well with your hands. Now shape the minced meat into balls.

Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan. Fry the meatballs briefly on each side and remove from the pan.

Chop the onion and garlic cloves for the sauce. Fry the chopped onion and garlic clove in the same oil. Add the tomato purée and fry briefly. Deglaze with 400 ml water and 50 ml cream. Add the spices and stir well.

Finally, add the meatballs and simmer with the lid on for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy the meatballs warm.
