German Nut Triangles

A sweet delight where the perfect combination of various nuts, fruity couverture, and sweet chocolate makes pastry lovers' hearts beat faster.
Ingredients
300 g | Flour |
1 tsp. | Baking powder |
130 g | Sugar |
1 pack | Vanilla sugar |
1 | Egg |
130 g | Butter |
200 g | Butter |
5 tbsp. | Water |
200 g | Sugar |
1 pack | Vanilla sugar |
200 g | Chopped Hazelnuts |
200 g | Ground hazelnuts |
3 tbsp. | Marmalade |
250 g | Couverture |
Preparation
Place the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and butter in a bowl and knead well. Spread the dough on a baking tray. Spread a thin layer of jam over the dough. Leave the tray to rest in a cool place.
Melt the butter (200g), water (5 tbsp), sugar (200g) and vanilla sugar (1p.) in a pan (do not boil). Add the chopped and ground hazelnuts and mix well. Spread the nut mixture evenly over the jam.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees top/bottom heat for approx. 30-35 minutes until the nut corners are golden brown.
Leave the nut corners to cool and then cut into the desired pieces.
Melt the chocolate coating and dip either the tops or the sides of the nut corners in it.
