Preparation
The ingredients for the dough are first kneaded into a smooth dough. This is then wrapped in cling film and chilled in the refrigerator for 2 hours. While the dough is resting, you can prepare the filling. All the filling ingredients are mixed together.
After chilling, the dough is divided into two halves. One half remains cold, while the other half is briefly kneaded and shaped into a ball.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). The half of the dough is rolled out on a lightly floured work surface until it is round. You can turn the dough ball over repeatedly while rolling it out.
Generously spread the rolled-out dough with apricot jam and then cut it into 16 "pie slices" with a knife. These "pie slices" are then carefully rolled up and shaped into crescents. Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat the same process with the second half of the dough.
Bake the crescents on the middle rack for 12-15 minutes, until they are golden brown.
Allow them to cool completely after baking.
