Ingredients
400 g | flour |
1 tsp | salt |
30 ml | oil |
20 g | fresh yeast |
1 tbsp | sugar |
220 ml | lukewarm water |
1/2 tsp | pizza seasoning |
1 pinch | salt |
150 g | sucuk |
200 g | strained tomatoes |
150 g |
Preparation
First dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water with a teaspoon of sugar. Leave it to stand for a few minutes until it foams.
Mix the flour, salt and oil in a large bowl. Add the dissolved yeast and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and leave it to rest in a warm place for about 60 minutes until it has doubled in volume. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle on a floured work surface.
In a separate bowl, mix the strained tomatoes, pizza seasoning, sugar and salt. Spread the tomato sauce generously over the dough.
Now spread the premium sucuk and grated Kashkaval cheese evenly over the tomato sauce.
Roll up the dough from the long side, like a strudel roll. Cut the dough roll into slices about 2 cm wide.
Place the slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake the pizza rolls in an oven preheated to 250 degrees top and bottom heat for approx. 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Now you can enjoy your homemade pizza rolls!
