1 | little pumpkin |
1 tbsp | butter |
sth. | Kaymak |
150 g | sugar |
70 g | water |
sth. | Tahin |
sth. | almond slivers |
Preparation
1
Cut the pumpkin into small pieces of the same size and peel.

Place the pumpkin pieces next to each other in a pan and sprinkle the sugar generously over them. Make sure that the pumpkin pieces are well covered in sugar. If you are using a large pumpkin, increase the amount of sugar. Then add the water.

Bring everything to the boil over a medium heat and keep the lid on. Let the pumpkins simmer for about 20 minutes until they are soft. While they are cooking, add the butter.
4
As soon as the pumpkins are soft, remove the lid and allow the liquid to evaporate over a high heat.
5
Allow the pumpkins to cool and serve with a generous dollop of kaymak and some tahini, garnish with slivered almonds and serve.
