Tabbouleh is a delicious and refreshing dish that originates from Arabic cuisine. It consists of bulgur, fresh herbs like parsley and mint, tomatoes, onions, olive oil, and lemon juice. Tabbouleh is popular not only in the Arab world but also has a firm place in Turkish cuisine.
Ingredients
80g | bulgur rice |
180ml | water |
70g | parsley |
40g | mint |
1/2 | cucumber |
2 | tomatoes |
1 | red onion |
6 tbspn. | olive oil |
80ml | lemon juice |
1-2 tsp. | salt |
Preparation

Put the bulgur in a pan. Add the water, cover and cook for approx. 10 mins.

Finely chop the onions. Finely chop the parsley and mint. Cut the cucumber and tomatoes into small cubes.

Mix all the chopped and diced ingredients with the bulgur. Drizzle over the olive oil, salt and lemon juice and mix everything together well.
